Quick guide to Thule roof-racks: Bars, foot packs & fitting kits
Not familiar with Thule’s roof rack system? Here’s a simple rundown of the 3 components
Roof Bars
Available in silver (aluminium) or black, the bars themselves come in a variety of styles and sizes to suit your car & requirements. Whichever you choose they are designed to be a base for various Thule items to be attached to. For more info on the types of roof bars available check out our handy guide.
Foot Packs
Foot packs attach to your car and the bars, locking them into place using Thule’s one-key system. Depending on the style of your roof they will either be fixed point, flush rail, raised rail or clamp.
Fitting Kits
Fitting Kits ensure the foot pack fits to your vehicle. They can cause confusion as there’s a multitude available, and they are very specific to ensure the roof rack is secured perfectly in place. But not every vehicle needs one!

We have many of the parts already in stock and will happily order anything else in if required. Once you have your kit, we will attach it all on and show you how it works. As a bonus, if you have any other Thule items, we will key match leaving you with only 1 key number for everything.
